Built to explore far away places. The Ronin 88 is an ultralight ski created for long days in the mountains, thousands of meters of ascent and steep descents where weight and edge hold are the highest priority.
The perfect amount of early rise tip and camber keeps the Ronin 88 afloat in breakable crust and powder while increasing overall edge contact with the snow. This increased edge contact in combination with an 88mm waist and moderate 18 meter turning radius deliver outstanding stability at speed and edge hold even in the most challenging and icy conditions. The high flax fiber content further increases stability and cancels out the “nervous twitchy” feeling traditionally associated with carbon fiber skis.
Railing edge to edge on bullet proof pistes or skiing steep lines, the Ronin 88 delivers incredible reliability in an exhilarating ultralight ski.
Construction
LTE construction
LTE construction uses ultralight full wood cores combined with carbon fibre for weight saving and natural flax fibre for vibration absorption, creating incredibly lightweight yet super damp and stable skis. LTE skis come with oversized bamboo sidewalls and extra thick base and edge.
MFD construction
MFD construction uses poplar, beech and bamboo full wood cores with a combination of fibreglass, carbon fibre and natural flax fibre to create an ultra stable downhill performance ski that is still lively and playful. MFD skis come with oversized bamboo sidewalls and extra thick base and edge.
